A 10-point guide on what every mainstream school can do to ensure their most vulnerable students are thriving from the national specialists in this area. Grounded in case studies and easily adaptable resources, the session will draw on FBB's decade of specialist experience of supporting vulnerable students at 100s of schools across London, Greater Manchester and the West Midlands. We will share a decade of practice and research on how to support vulnerable young people to succeed in school, both in terms of learnings from our programme and from examples of best practice we have seen at our partner schools across the country. Specific themes discussed will be Early Assessment, Teacher Wellbeing, Trauma-Informed Practice, Relationships for Learning and the Cultural Competency of the staff team.
